Technical SEO
Technical audits, on-page optimisation, keyword targeting, local SEO and link strategy. The website needs to be accessible and understandable before content can earn attention.
RANK GENERAL / SEO + AI search
CODE/RAVEN is Xwork Digital Agency’s marketing framework. Our GEO work brings technical SEO, useful content and AI search visibility into one Rank General engagement—not another monthly add-on.
For businesses in Malaysia and Singapore. Based in Johor Bahru.
The job to be done
Generative engine optimisation (GEO) is work that improves how accessible, clear and credible your business information is for AI-powered discovery. The aim is to support accurate brand mentions and source citations—not to buy your way into an organic answer.
A buyer asking an AI assistant to compare suppliers needs evidence: what you do, who you serve, where you operate and why your information is reliable. A vague services page leaves those questions unanswered. A strong search foundation gives both people and search systems something concrete to work with.
A workflow, not a results forecast. No platform guarantees inclusion.
The foundation stays
Google’s AI search features rely on the same foundational SEO practices as Google Search. Google says pages must be indexed and eligible to display a search snippet to be considered as supporting links in AI Overviews or AI Mode.
That means fixing blocked pages, weak content and disconnected site architecture before buying a new acronym. Google also says no special AI text files or schema are required. We use structured data to describe real, visible information—not as a citation guarantee.
“There are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, nor other special optimizations necessary.”Google Search Central · AI features and your website
This is Google’s guidance for its own search features, not a claim that every AI platform uses identical systems.
What you are buying
Rank General combines full SEO management, content marketing and AI visibility reporting. GEO is part of that work, not a separate retainer layered on top.
Technical audits, on-page optimisation, keyword targeting, local SEO and link strategy. The website needs to be accessible and understandable before content can earn attention.
Four SEO-optimised blog posts per month, each 1,500–2,500 words, with AI citability optimisation. Clear answers and supporting sources take priority over filler.
Monthly ranking reports and a quarterly AI visibility scorecard. Search rankings and appearances in AI answers are related signals, not interchangeable results.
Scope and cadence reflect the published Rank General protocol. Website access and coordination with your web team are needed for technical changes.
Local intent matters
AI search visibility in Malaysia needs to reflect the questions your actual buyers ask. A Johor Bahru service enquiry, a Kuala Lumpur supplier shortlist and a Singapore buyer comparing Malaysian providers are different buying situations.
Start with your real service area, customer questions and working languages. Where English, Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese matter to your customers, agree the relevant query set and content priorities before work begins. This is not a promise of three separate translation programmes inside the retainer.
A useful starting brief
Use real enquiries, not just a list of high-volume keywords.
Make services, locations, terms and evidence easy to verify.
Separate mentions, linked citations, referral visits and qualified enquiries.
Transparent commitment
Rank General costs RM 2,500 per month with a six-month minimum. GEO is included; you do not need to buy a separate monthly GEO add-on from CODE/RAVEN.
Compare the full scope when assessing proposals. Standalone GEO, SEO with an optional AI layer and integrated SEO-plus-GEO are different commercial models. A headline price alone does not tell you how much content, technical work or reporting you receive.
The separately listed AI Search Visibility Audit is RM 1,200 one-time. It covers how your brand appears in ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews, with a GEO/AEO gap analysis and action report. See published pricing.
The market is moving
ChatGPT advertising and organic AI visibility are different channels. OpenAI says ads are labelled, separate from answers and do not influence the answers ChatGPT provides. Buying an ad is not a shortcut to being cited as a source.
OpenAI announced a rollout including Malaysia and Singapore, with self-service access for eligible businesses. That is advertising access—not an organic citation service.
Addlly AI announced a multi-brand F&N engagement, including 100PLUS and Magnolia, spanning Malaysia, Singapore and other SEA markets. It is a regional adoption signal—not published ROI evidence.
These organisations are not CODE/RAVEN clients, partners or endorsers. This page does not offer ChatGPT Ads management.
Accountability before applause
AI visibility is meaningful only when the question, platform and date are clear. A brand mention, a linked source citation and a sales enquiry are three different things.
At kickoff, agree how visibility will be assessed and what data is available. Keep the prompt wording and market context consistent enough to make comparisons useful. Treat repeated checks as observations, not a census of every answer a buyer sees.
We do not present an illustrative demo as a client outcome. Ask to see the baseline, the work completed and the change over time.
| Signal | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Brand mention | The answer names your business. It does not necessarily link to your website. |
| Source citation | The answer references a page as a source. Record the actual linked URL. |
| Referral visit | A visitor arrives from an identifiable source. Available tracking has limits. |
| Qualified enquiry | A prospective customer takes a useful next step. Do not equate visibility with revenue. |
Before you commit
GEO is included in Rank General, but it does not give an agency control over AI answers. Here are the practical boundaries before you sign.
A GEO agency helps a business improve the accessibility, clarity and credibility of information used in AI-generated answers. The work combines technical SEO, useful content and visibility checks. CODE/RAVEN includes GEO within the Rank General SEO engagement, rather than selling it as a separate monthly add-on.
GEO is included in Rank General at RM 2,500 per month with a six-month minimum engagement. That is RM 15,000 in retainer fees across the minimum term. A standalone AI Search Visibility Audit is also listed at RM 1,200 one-time. It is a separate option, not a required monthly surcharge.
No. GEO does not replace SEO. Search accessibility, useful content and credible business information remain the foundation. Rank General brings technical SEO, content marketing and AI visibility work into the same engagement.
No. AI platforms decide which sources to use, and answers vary by query, context and time. We do not guarantee a citation, a first-place ranking or a fixed result date. Progress needs to be assessed against a documented baseline, not a single favourable screenshot.
No. This page covers organic search and AI visibility within Rank General. Paid ChatGPT advertising is a different channel. OpenAI states that advertising does not influence the answers ChatGPT provides. No ChatGPT Ads management service is included in this offer.
No. Google says there are no special AI text-file or schema requirements for AI Overviews and AI Mode. Crawlable, indexed pages that are eligible for search snippets remain the starting point. Structured data must match the visible page content; it does not guarantee an AI citation.
Start with your business, not the buzzword
Tell our team what you sell, where you operate and which enquiries matter. We’ll discuss whether Rank General or the standalone audit is the better starting point.
